Learn how easy it is to integrate video editing into the curriculum. Learn the skills needed to successfully use this program and explore strategies for classroom integration.
Integrating Adobe Captivate into Teaching and Learning
Learn how you and your students can create interactive lessons, tutorials and a variety of quizzes.
These can be used as a teaching tool, or for students to demonstrate understanding of their learning.
Moodle
Learn how to create online courses with opportunities for rich interaction. Participants will learn:
¨ the basic skills in setting up activities in the Moodle learning management system
¨ how to link existing material (bring electronic copies of resources)
Switch On To Interactive White Boards (2 days)
Become familiar with the operation of the IWB and its basic interaction with SMART Notebook software, other applications and the Internet.
Intermediate Whiteboard Training
This course is designed for primary and secondary teachers who have more experience using interactive whiteboards in their classrooms. SMART Notebook software will be used.
Online Resources to Enhance Teaching and Learning (incorporating CLAS)
In this workshop teachers use CLAS (Connected Learning Advisory Service) to:
¨ assess their own use of ICT for teaching and learning
¨ find links to examples of good practice, professional learning activities and online resources
¨ plan how to incorporate these resources into their T & L program
(Can be modified to a ½ day workshop.)
Integrating Apple iLife Applications in the Classroom (Mac Only)
Learn how easy it is to integrate the Apple iLife suite of applications into your classroom. Specific needs can be negotiated with schools.
